A new music record label

Our purpose is to represent and bring together artists and listeners who are actively contributing to a forward-thinking community that is wholly devoted to the advancement of New Music.

Predating the official launch of our label, the members of our would-be board of trustees began Racer Sessions, a curated weekly composition and improvisation series. Racer Sessions was instituted with the aim of providing for artists and listeners of all ages and musical backgrounds the opportunity to interact with and inspire each other in a setting that might otherwise only exist in classrooms, basements, outer space, or some other forsaken locale. Amid the creative effervescence of this environment, Table & Chairs was established as a public platform for the musicians from within the Racer Sessions milieu.

The T&C lineup is in a state of continual expansion. We’ve added artists from within our own geographical sphere and beyond, and will continue to do so as our label’s reaches broaden. Look for upcoming releases, events, and related content here on our website. You can also catch us every Sunday night at Racer Sessions in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood. We look forward to diversifying our artist roster, releasing many more amazing and innovative records, and continuing to share with you the music that we love. -T&C
